  • After a so so experience at Honey Salt, I wasn't expecting much from Andiron. However, it actually turned out great. Our server, Jose was super nice and accommodating. I wasn't happy with the steak sauce and instead of asking me which one I would like instead, he brought out a sample of all of them. Now that is true customer service. Lobster rolls are usually under seasoned to let the lobster flavor shine but I've always disagreed with anything bland. Here they seasoned it very well so it was great! We also had the octopus which was cooked perfectly tender and had the right amount of char. For the entree's we had the branzino and rib eye. The fish was cooked and deboned perfectly. It's not often where I don't find a single bone in fish that I order. The rib eye was also cooked perfectly medium rare. You have no idea how many steakhouses cannot get the temperature of their steak right. I was just at Echo and Rig few days ago and the steak was raw in the center when I asked for medium rare. I sent it back and when it came back only half of it was medium rare. The other half was still raw. Anyway, needless to say I have really happy when my steak came out perfectly medium rare. Out of all the sauces, peppercorn was my favorite. We finished with the creme brûlée donuts. It had the perfect crunch on the outside and creamy filling on the inside. Great service, great food. Will be back soon!
