  • Born and raised in Phoenix, first time at Mel's Diner. We stopped for breakfast on our way back to Tucson. The staff was friendly and efficient. The meal was fresh, House Fries were homemade, not frozen. Pancakes were light and fluffy. We spent a little less than we would at IHOP and the food was much better. We'll definitely return to Mel's Diner.
