While I appreciate a knowledgeable, skilled professional...I do not like being called (or more so implied to be) a liar. I am not trying to toot my own horn but I have great hair. My natural color is deep and I have natural strawberry blond and red highlights mixed in with my brunette hair. In the Summer months my hair becomes even a little more red from sun exposure. Most stylists think that my hair is colored but its all mine and naturally lovely. Despite having great natural color, I wanted to go blonde! I saw this place had great reviews and a great special, so I called. I was advised to come by for a consultation. When I arrived, I didn't mind waiting because I could see the only one there was in the middle of a shampoo. When it came time to look at my hair, the gentleman kept insisting my hair wasn't virgin. I told him I understood how lying would trash my hair and would end up with the wrong color but that what he was looking at was virgin hair. Didn't matter, he kept telling me how if I wasn't being honest what would.happen to my hair. He so didn't believe me to the point where he asked for a snippet of hair to test. He was supposed to call me on a Tuesday and didn't call back until Wednesday but left a message telling me that I can do it- meaning he realized it was my own hair! I was so offended that I only agreed to let him test my hair to proove him wrong. In case he reads my review, I would like him to know that I found a lovely professional named Rachel on the other side of town who asked the same question but didn't accuse me of being a liar. She did a terrific job, charged $30 more than you quoted and I happily paid.
