  • Today I had a great conversation with Sonia, the leasing specialist at Positano Apartments. I called 5 minutes before closing, she answered all my question (thoroughly), she didn't rush me, we ended up staying on the phone maybe 15 minutes or more after closing.I am military (my husband) and I are currently stationed in the Pacific Northwest and I am unable to schedule a tour, I have to do everything via (military life) and she gave me a lot of useful information, about the apartment and Las Vegas. I have twin elementary school children, in which she has experience with (twin life) in her family and I feel my girls are would like it there. The SET PRICE for Water/Sewer/Trash at Positano is GREAT!!! Since I have been hunting for apartments, and reading Yelp reviews, I've notice the issues of fluctuating utilities prices, bugs invasions, loud noise, over priced properties, maintenance entering your home without proper notice, and rude staff has made up the majority of complaints among Las Vegas renters. I am super squeamish about bugs particularly (SPIDERS) and we literally talked about the type of bugs you will find in Las Vegas (the Desert) in general. She assured me that insects complaints hasn't been an issue there, they spray every week and if I ever see a recluse or any insect in my apartment, to alert the office and they will send someone out to spray my apartment as soon as possible, at no expense to me. Also, If I am not available they will notified me and an a staff will accompany a the contractor while they spray. I havn't written a review on Yelp before, however; the reviews from this site, has been a strong influenced my on decisions in renting an apartment or not, no matter how great the property seems. My husband and I haven't made our final decision on where we would like to rent. Positano looks lovely and my experience speaking with Sonia, has definitely made a great impression on me, which puts Positano in my top 3 apartment picks. Speaking with her made me feel much better about my family having to be transferred to Las Vegas. If my family chooses to live there I hope to experience the same curiosity that Sonia provided me, with all staff and the property. I'll be sure to keep you updated.
