| - I hate to say it, but I have to knock a star off after my last two visits to Whole Grain Natural Bread. I placed an order for 20 loaves of cinnamon swirl bread last week and set up a day and time to pick them up. When I arrived, I was pressed for time for another appointment and found they were still placing the bread in bags. Luckily it worked out okay, so I placed an order for 50 more loaves for this week for gifts for friends and co-workers, and paid in advance. When I arrived yesterday, none of the bread was bagged, and, because the loaves were still cooling, they were unable to completely twist-tie the bags closed because condensation would form. This made me nervous because, thanks to my labrador, the back compartment of my car always has a little dog hair floating around, and who wants food with someone else's dog hair in it? They had run out of their store labels, so none of the loaves had this information, which I would have preferred so people knew where the yummy bread came from. They also grabbed a few loaves off the store shelves to complete my order. When I arrived home, many of the warm loaves were smashed because they were still so soft. (The loaves they grabbed off the store shelves were fine because they'd already cooled and firmed up a little.) The smashed loaves didn't make for a great gift presentation as they didn't look very nice.
