  • I opened the rusty door of my mind and returned to this steakhouse for another try. I'm happy to report that the meal was considerably better than the last time I was here, and the service was attentive and charming, but Del Frisco's is still not one of the top steakhouses in Las Vegas. Particularly since their prices are not much less than the superstar joints on the strip. The wine list is full of great choices, but the mark-up is about 3 times. And I'm told they won't allow corkage for any price, which is just plain stupid. The lobster mac-n-cheese was a little watery and there are still no fries on the menu. So next time I'm planning to drop fat dough on beef protein, I'll likely pick another place....maybe something that rhymes with "fat dough" and starts with an M.
