  • I swear I wish I could give NO stars. I got Bell Fibe (after having satellite for who knows how long) not even 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems. They called and said that we were VIPs and we were guaranteed this price for 2 years and the next month it was higher. We called and they said they can't help if the prices go up. Okay fine, but don't go promising people that it will be that price for 2 years if you can't follow through on that. They also promised we would have all our same channels, but we didn't. They said we would have the same Internet speed, but they lowered it. They told us we had to buy a new phone to fix the problems we were having with our TV and that wasn't the case. When they came to fix it, they said we had a used PVR and then had the nerve to have us pay for ANOTHER USED PVR. I wasn't going to pay for a 3rd USED PVR. Yes this already my second and it's nothing but problems too. I have to unplug and reboot my system daily and wait for 2 or more hours for it to work. Oh and when you do that, you risk losing all the shows and movies that you recorded and wanted to watch later. And I have no idea why on earth the PVR has a USB port if they can't save the programs you have on there. Also, it doesn't record the full version of the program it's supposed to record so make sure that you record every version possible. I wanted to watch a 2 hour movie and only got to watch 1 hour (if even) of it because the PVR decided that I clearly didn't want to watch all of the movie that I recorded. The worst is when you're watching a show on the PVR and it cuts out the last little bit and then you have to sit through the entire show that you just watched on demand to catch the little bit that you missed. And that's if you're lucky enough to have that show on demand because some shows aren't there and a lot of them don't stay there for long, so you have to be quick to watch them. When the system goes down (and you can bet that it will), you better make sure you have a cell phone because everything goes out (phone, internet and TV) and they need you to be in front of your system in order to help you so you can't ask your neighbour to use their landline. The technician said that Mississuga doesn't have fiberoptic cables so they shouldn't have even told us about it. Every Saturday, you can guarantee that you won't have TV. The satellite went out in bad weather, but Fibe goes out in rain, snow, sun, cloudy, any other weather you can imagine. I have seen Bell Fibe technicians more than I've seen a lot of my own family. Bottom line, if you love watching digitized TV (live or on the PVR) then Bell Fibe is perfect for you. Bell Fibe is the greatest thing since sliced bread like they have you believing? I think NOT! Side note: I don't know why it's saying I'm from San Francisco when I'm from Mississauga, ON
