  • It was probably the best back in 2008. The last two times I have eaten here I was highly disappointed especially for what you pay. Four of us eating here cost $200+. Back then the dress code wasn't that strict, but when reading the sign, it didn't say anything about cropped tops. Opaque cover ups/ proper attire. Hmmmmmm..... Jalanya was our cashier. She had another employee standing behind her and another one just outside their station. So we walk up, and instantly I see her eyes go to my sisters outfit. Right away I already know there is going to be a problem. The girl behind Jalanya picks up a phone and is already talking to a manager. Meanwhile we are standing their confused because the employees are mumbling amongst each other, but not addressing us as the customer. I basically had to come out and ask them, they said they were getting a manager. Manager never showed. Sister had to wear a sweater over he outfit. Fine, so we look around and everyone is pretty much not showing any skin. What do they do when there are groups going to the clubs and they want buffet? Do you show them out because of their indecency? Well before I get to the food, let me divulge a bit more. We are seated and continue with our meal. Low and behold, some very scantily clad females show up. Two Asians in see through or opaque tops. One wearing a black bra and the other nude but it's darker than she is so you totally see it. The one with the nude bra also has a skirt that is higher on one side than the other. So her left butt cheek is almost showing. Later two younger girls with jeans and crop tops come in. WTF! So they are just bare as can be. You can tell them kind of tried to yank their pants as high as Steve Urkel. They also tried to slouch their shoulders. If you want your guests to abide by a strict dress code than you need to list what is and is not appropriate. Basically they did not treat all their guests to the same standards which is quite upsetting. The cashiers and hostess staff were all quite rude and not very polite. What I got from their attitudes was that they acted better than the people they were serving. You work in the friggin customer service industry, you better be polite and courteous. It's your job, it's what you get paid for. If you don't like it, go work somewhere else. Okay onto the crappy food. The soups were blah. Lobster bisque tasted more like shrimp. The chicken noodle tasted basic, and the noodles were all too soft. The watermelon was old because the melon was starting to deteriorate. The salads were an every day type thing, nothing special. The fish fishes were so badly overcooked, sitting under heat lamps killed them. The pizza looked under done, pale crust and pale cheese. The pasta was blah- seafood with orriccheti (the ear shaped pasta) had hardly any seafood. The penne with meatballs or maybe it was ziti with meatballs, was okay. The meatballs were a bit dry and flavorless. The chicken parm with tomato sauce was bland and not crispy or hot. The prime rib was well done. The ribeye was cut with the grain and made it soooo chewy. It was chargrilled, it was more like burned and charcoal flavored. The turkey was overly dry looking. The latke tasted like rehydrated potato shreds, that then got made into piles. The wagyu was terrible, stringy and chewy. The salmon and capers wasn't bad. Asian section: sushi rice was hard, items not marked properly, and it was all just blah. Despite that I came for the crab. They only had snow and jonah crab claws. That was disappointing. The snow was a mixed batch. Some were extremely salty and others not. The Jonah claws were overcooked and the meat was terrible. Our waiter who got our drinks was pretty nice. For the most part of top of it. The desserts were probably the best. Gelato, cakes, pastries, etc...
