I served in the Army for 85-89. I had not fired an M-16, M-60, or M1911 for 30 years. I took my girlfriend who had never fired a weapon in her life. Our instructor was Zac - who was fantastic, he walked my girlfriend through all the safety rules, and how to handle a firearm.
For me, Zac helped me remember lessons lost to the sands of time, like how to hold an M-60. I surprised myself that after 30 years without holding a M-16A1 that I was able to hit center mass with an un-zeroed rifle. The reflexes and muscle memory were still there so many years later. The sights, sounds, and especially he smells took me back to my youth. I cannot thank Battlefield Vegas enough.
