| - This location was previously a Metro supermarket before they abandoned the area and ran away. It is strange because Yummy Market is thriving and another supermarket is going up a block away now! Either way, I much prefer the name Metro to Yummy Market.
Product-wise Yummy Market is great. They have good produce, fresh bread, a wide variety of honey and many organic products which are priced reasonably. They even carry Japanese and Korean goods like seaweed and kimchi, Iranian bread, German sausage and delicious Canadian organic milk.
I do respect how Yummy Market is clean unlike dumps like No Frills and Wal-Mart. In this area it is between Yummy Market, Longos and .Nature' Emporium.
I cannot give them higher marks because the parking lot is packed and the drivers are uncivilized, the employees are quite impolite and surly and finally the pastry looks good, but is not actually tasty, well done or baked with good oil (one can tell). For example, for Napoleon I always drive to Garni where they also have nice Iranian cookies. Most important issue the owner has to address is the customer service, care and politeness of employees. I am not sure how it is in Russia, but in Canada we demand politeness.
