Wait. Hawaiian?? I thought it was Japanese. Oh well. It is terrific whatever it is. Delicious every time - this is about my 6th visit. Poke Poku is consistently good and fresh, food items are always stocked and the complimentary miso and tea are a nice touch (hey people don't complain about price until you look at the whole pic here!) Only one complaint: would much prefer freshly sliced avocado over mushed. Maybe that's just me though bc I have the same complaint at Subway, as I LOVE me some fresh avocado - the yummy superfood!
You can't go wrong w the Poke Poku sauce or the LV Style sauce.
The girls working today - Sun afternoon - are both polite, efficient and hard working. (Asian girl w long braids and blonde w med length pony tail/forearm tat).
Don't be intimidated first trip if you have never been to Poke Poku, just let them know and they hopefully will walk you through the steps to building a bowl or a burrito - and if you're lucky you won't get the impatient guy I had the first time YEEESH.
Try the Coffee Macaron Ice Cream sandwich if you didn't fill up on a huge bowl. Mmmm!
