Can't wait to come back and get something else! Maybe a corn snake next. The store is full of amazing creatures. The lady who helped me was awesome and clearly an expert in what she was doing. A lot of traffic in and out for feeder insects and animals, clearly it is a trusted place for people with exotic pets. I learned so much and am excited to watch our new tarantula grow. No gimmicks or unneeded products recommended, just honest feedback.
My tip would be to make sure you ask questions because otherwise they might assume you know and not volunteer it. I asked a ton of questions and they guided me. You should probably be better than me and do your own research before coming. Really before buying an animal you should know what to do with it, especially because when you buy you sign a contract that if the pet dies they are not liable.
In closing, they have won my business. With three little kids and a classroom to manage I anticipate many more visits. They are worth buying local for, IMHO. Oh- one last cool thing! When my tarantula sheds I can bring back the exoskeleton (?) and they will let me know what gender it is.
