  • Not sure what has happened recently, but quality and consistency are sorted lackly of late. We had the Italian beef sandwhich many times for lunch and it has been the standard to which we compare others....tender, well seasoned beef, thinly sliced grilled onions (we don't like peppers so omit then) - delicious!!! Tonight we ordered some to go for dinner they erre plain awful. Beef was chewy and tough, and "light" onions somehow translated to big chunks of not well cooked onion slapped on top of the meat. If we stayed at the store to eat, we would have sent them back. Even the best place going to have a bad night but the last few times the customer service has been poor also. Tonight the person behind the deli counter told several customers how busy he was and how he had been dealing with catering orders all day. The line was long, so politely keeping it moving would have been nice - like a lady behind me commented- everybody in line had a busy day too... Disappointed in the food, further disappointed in the service. Hope they get back on track.
