  • We had been looking for a really nice used car for a little while. I kept seeing Precision Fleet Services on one car we were especially interested in but I ruled them out because I didn't want to buy a company fleet vehicle. This was sooooo my Bad! They sell regular cars, not company fleet vehicles, duh! We finally decided to go there to look at and drive the car to see if our two sons would be comfortable in the back seat. Important when they are 13 and 6'3" and 5'10" respectively. I was so petty that I sent my husband in to look and make sure they still had the car before I would even go in. He waved me in and thus started the best used car buying experience of my life! First we were shown the vehicle by Ryan. One of the nicest people I've met in a long time. Since the car was low on gas he drove us over and filled it up. Then he got out and let my husband take over and said have a nice drive! We drove around Tempe for a bit while hubby fell in love with the car. When we came back to the dealer the front desk people were very pleasant and got Ryan for us. Once again I was surprised when Ryan didn't actually sell us the car. He showed us to Jack's office for us to do a deal. Jack and Ryan were both funny and helpful and put us at our ease. We had done a lot of research before going out to look at cars. We were very aware of the wholesale and retail values of the cars and what the competition on that car was in a 250 mile radius and had researched all the carfax reports. Jack showed us the range on that car and asked us what we would be willing to do a deal at. I gave him my bottom line price since I was already at the end of my patience for the day (another story and a review on a different dealer). Since it was lower than what his pay grade would allow him to approve he called the owner, Chris. The two had a very straightforward exchange on our offer. Chris initially turned it down and I actually don't blame him. It was low but still left them some room for profit. It was our bottom line though and we got up to leave. Chris texted Jack while we were still there saying goodbye and they talked a bit more. We then did the deal at the price we wanted and walked out with a "new" used car at a really good fair price. I think the people there are phenomenal. Not at all what past experience has led me to expect. Thanks guys!!!
