My grand finally in Scottsdale came the evening I went to La Santisima. I wanted to some good Mexican food before I left the west coast, so I looked this place up and based on the Yelp reviews I made the journey. It was about a 35 minute drive from my hotel in Scottsdale, but well worth the trip. The place isn't that big, but it's very clean and pretty traditional. The whole time I was there I heard bob Marley playing. It was odd, but cool at the same time since I expected mariachi music playing. Anyhow, me and my friends placed our orders and came to the salsa bar. This had to have had the most variety in salsa that I've seen. Tasted a few salsas for my chips and ordered a few alcoholic drinks which were fantastic. I tried the peach margarita and my friend had the strawberry one. The food was also delicious! I had the asada burrito smothered and my friend had the chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla is pretty stuffed and filling. I would definitely come back and have lunch or dinner here in the future.
