  • Very disappointed with Frutta Si. My 93 year old mother haf all her groceries delivered from here. When I checked out some of the new groceries she received on February 27, 2018, I saw the eggs were dated December 25, 2017! I then started checking other groceries and her orange juice was dated January 8, and the sausages were dated two days before she ordered! I called very upset and wanted to speak with the manager who wasn't in at the time. I told the woman who answered the phone what my complaint was since she was the person my mother always dealt with and she said it wasn't her but maybe someone else in the store. Totally missing the point that the expired food should be even in the store to sell! She then told me the manager was now in and I asked to speak with her. After waiting for quite a while on hold, I can only imagine she was telling the manager what my complaint was, she returned telling me the manager was too busy to speak with me. Selling expired food to senior citizens is an issue the manager felt too busy to deal with!! I asked my mother to never shop there again for her own safety. Full disclosure, they offered to replace the food if I returned it. I refused not seeing any reason I should go out of my way and they refused to deliver a replacement. Please for your own health check the expiry dates on your food! They still never called to apologize to my mother!
