  • Stayed first 1 night and the experience was underwhelming and frustrating. I will add that we used Expedia and paid for a red room with a view. When we arrived, we overlooked a parking lot and could see Ballys next door. The room was dingy. Stains in tub, felt dirty, and the desk looked like a dog chewed it. The mini fridge was also inoperable and the leather headboard was ripped. Not exactly what I would call a "view" and certainly not as pictures online. Called the hotel and they said I didn't have a reservation for a room with a view. Spent almost 2 hours talking with Expedia who said all we needed to do was visit the front desk for a room key exchange because they worked everything out with the manager. When my husband and I stopped at the desk to pick up keys, there was an arrogance to the employee who assisted us and after spending another 30 minutes in line/explaining ourselves we got new keys but had to take a smoking rooms to get the Eiffel view we booked. We told the desk worked that we still needed into the old room to get our bags, but when we got to the original room the keys were deactivated - we went straight there! Used the hallway phone to call back to the desk because it's a long walk and was told nobody could help me and that I would have to walk back to the lobby, wait in line, and then talk to somebody again. Needless to say, that wasn't an acceptable answer, especially when I was treated like I was in the wrong. Finally got a security gaurd to let us into the room and a food/beverage credit for the inconvenience. Check into room 2 and it was unsurprisingly much the same as the first. It reminds me of decor you would find in a house in the 90s. The clock and phone are outdated, curtains dirty, etc. Also, the pillows in room 2 were lumpy and the bed linens didn't feel fresh. I used the towel in the bathroom to wipe up some water on the sink and the towel turned black when I did. I don't suggest staying here. Check it out to gamble, got to Beer Park, but don't stay here!
