I was pretty upset I had to give up my reservations for Enoteca San Marco but getting free concert tickets and being unable to move the reservation time meant going to something quick and nearby.
We settled for the cafe at Harrah's.
I decided to get Salisbury steak because I'm silly like that sometimes. I figure I'm in Vegas at some crappy hotel cafe so I might as well go for a new low and hope for the best.
It actually had flavor! Bouchon's sausage maker can learn a thing or two about putting salt into some chopped meat. Huh.
The mashed potatoes reminded me of my childhood so that was good. The only odd thing was the veggies were weirdly chopped into mismatched shapes. Carrots were cubed and cut into strips. Strange. I suppose that might mean someone is actually chopping veggies in the kitchen versus grabbing them pre-cut from the freezer?
Overall? Just fine.
