  • I'm new to the thrifting world, but Savers is my new favorite place. Like another review, the best day to go is definitely Monday where everything is half off. Certain colors are on sale each day, but there doesn't seem to be a set pattern. The clothing section is overwhelming, but it seems as organized as it could be. The other sections (purses, shoes, books, toys, housewares) are easy to browse through. They have a rewards program so be sure to sign up if you plan to peruse here off and on. Parents - be sure to check out the book section. I found several books that were clearly new and were perhaps unloaded here by Marshalls. They are a little more expensive than I'd like (not regular store price, but more than a garage sale), but buy 4 and you get one free! The toy section is hit or miss. I definitely saw a lot of toys my child already has that were in great condition so it's worth a look. If you want a great white elephant gift, check out the board game section. Tons of great games from my childhood and beyond!
