  • It's friggin' summer so I won't whine about the heat. Jimmy Simpson Recreation Centre is THE place to be right now! I brought my sweaty 4 month old daughter here and relaxed in the wading pool for a half hour until her tiny feet were going purple. The water's a bit on the chilly side but she's one tough cookie so she could hack it. The dressing rooms are relatively clean (anything's better than Greenwood Park's dungeon). There were no floating band-aids in sight (another jab at Greenwood park's pool). The main pool which I have yet to try looked really inviting! The chlorine content didn't seem too irritating and overly strong so bring you little tots there to beat this heat!
