DEATH DEFYING.
Not just because we watched a tightrope walker almost plunge to the ground after jumping over his compadre and slipping off the rope, and then barely throwing one hand up to grab the rope (was that part of the show? Oh wait, he almost BIT IT - DOH!), but because there is a remarkable level of insanity associated with many of the stunts and feats performed at this show.
Of course, there was also the far less life-threatening ball juggler and sand artist (well, I guess it would be dangerous is she inhaled at the wrong time and aspirated a pile of blue sand), but they were as equally mesmerizing to watch.
I wouldn't come with the expectation of a show with any sort of discernable story line (what is the dude with the cape singing about - again?), but do come expecting a wonderful circus show with acts that will make you catch your breath and wonder how it is humanly possible to do what they do.
Oh yah, and the dude who catches air while running on the spinning "Wheel of Death"? Does it with a black hood over his head. AWESOME.
