This restaurant is hidden in the strip mall, so when I walked in and it was completely empty, I figured it was just because of the location. The staff were very nice and helpful. After looking at the menu, I thought I'd definitely be coming back so I could try more of the dishes as they sounded great! I ordered the hunter burger and fish and chips to go. It was similar to the burgers at the cafeteria at my last job. It just had that really charred taste, the bun wasn't toasted, and I asked for medium-but got well-done. It was supposed to have caramelized onions and mushrooms, but they were really just warmed mushrooms and onions. The fish & chips were soggy-which I tried to write off since I did take the food home. It was just disappointing all around. I almost feel bad because I wanted to like it since it's close to my house and the server/owner seemed so nice (they also had cool art on the walls, which made me hopeful the chef would be feeling inspired.) But it left me regretting the $35 lunch.
