| - The biggest complaint is it's a bot tough to find free parking around this restaurant, with that said, parking is super cheap, 75 cent per hour so your entire meal should cost you no more than $2 in parking.
We did not make a reservation, it was a week night but we got lucky, and was able to score 1 empty table.
The restaurant interior is tastefully decorated. Love the paintings on the wall, really brings out the essence of the maya culture. Also in the bathroom, they have the cutest sinks, the files are awe striking.
Ordered the gauc and chips, you will not get an ordinary gauc and chips, a large order, colorful tortillas and the most heavenly gaucs. All beautifully presented.
My mushroom enchillada was a bit underwhelming, but it came with nice sides.
The other person in my party ordered chicken, and it was nicely grilled, tender. The veggies were also nice.
They have a seasonal menu here, so what you see in some of the pictures posted on yelp may not be available when you go in, so be prepared for that.
Overall escobar is a great solid restaurant, great food, ambiance, and a nice night out experience. The staff is also quite pleasant.
