  • Initially went to contiune to control a thyroid issue in our boxer. Even after continuing with thyroid medication out boxer's health and quality of life did not improve. We tried to talk to the vet about other possible options (different medication, changing dosage, other possible health issues, etc) but they refused to listen to us and continued to say progress with the medication and dosage and he should do better eventually. Well unfortunately eventually never came. These vets neglected to fully evaluate our boxer and missed clear signs of cardiomyopathy, cardiomegaly, and cardiac stenosis. Thankfully another clinic and excellent veterinarian was able to quickly identify these symptoms and conducted tests to find out what his condition was like, when his health turned for the worst, and was able to provide us with some help to try and help him live out his time as comfortable as possible.
