  • Caesars Palace has a lot to offer. They have a lot of entertainment and amenities under one roof. To walk around and Gamble or sight see, Love it. Pay to sleep here...HATE IT. From the outside, the place looks incredible and made me feel like I just had to stay here. I'm not impressed. Maybe if I got to check in at their VIP side entrance on the other side of the Hotel, and was whisked away to my room in style then I might sing a different tune. But I'm not that lucky. I'm a standard room kind of guy. Some of the rooms are HUGE for a standard. Some are not. Some are nice, and some are just skankie. Oh sorry... sqankee. Our small room had a whore house red velvet sofa. I didn't want my kids sitting on it, nor did I want to walk around the room without shoes. One night I walked out of the Elevator and around the corner, there were 3 guy who looked like gang members hanging out against the wall. 1 was standing, the other 2 were squatting and they stopped whispering and just watched me walk to the room. They weren't doing anything wrong, but I didn't like the feeling. Another time, I heard commotion in the Hall. Security and Hotel staff were kicking somebody out of their room. Nice. Then at 2:30am I heard Janella and Toeshawnda fighting in the hall with all her girlz about their man and how one was going to jack the other girls grill up if she didn't stop flappin her jaw in her face. I couldn't tell which one of the 4 was the most pissed because they were all pissed. Girlz night out gone bad. I wanted to go out and tell them to SHUT UP, but I knew I'd get my ass beat if I opened the door. The pool was another disappointment. It LOOKS great. But they don't really monitor who goes in, so its filled with people who are not staying at the Hotel. The place is a labyrinth. I hate that. It's like being in LA. Everything takes 20 minutes. From your car to your room, 20 minutes. From your room to the pool, 20 minutes. Walking around the pool to find a place to sit, 10 minutes. Pool to room, 15 minutes. Room to Buffet, 20 minutes. Wait for table, 45 minutes. Dining, 2 hours. Buffet to Bellagio (next door), 20 minutes. Casino to your car in parking structure and trying to get out on any surface street, 15 minutes. The place has an old reputation, the Forum Shops, and Celene; in all, its like the adult version of Circus Circus. Its really not that great.
