  • The National Aviary is one of my family's favorite destinations in Pittsburgh. We have a membership and visit several times a year. Highlights include the amazing variety of birds, the courteous and informative staff, the ambassador animals including sloths, and the well maintained facilities. The special events such as sloth encounter and penguin encounter make great children's birthday celebrations. I also recommend attending an animal feeding. The aviary is a delight - highly recommended for locals and tourists.
