This place was terrible all the way around.
I was visiting from out of town and we stopped here for dinner after the Jersey Boys show. We heard the food was good and worth the money. We had 8 in our group and each of us paid individually. Only AFTER we paid, we were notified that parties of 8 or more automatically have to add 17% gratuity. Barbara, the lady standing and taking tickets insinuated (rudely) that she wanted us to go back to the cashier to repay with the 17% added to each persons ticket. We asked if we could add it at the end or use cash and she huffed and puffed while taking all of our tickets and pulling the hostess aside to see how to handle our group.
Not sure why NO BODY mentioned the gratuity until after we paid and there were no signs posted until after we rounded the corner where the hostess was standing. Not our problem that they had poor placement with their sign or that the people taking our money didn't bother to give us a heads up. After that issue, the staff was rude to our whole group. They ended up slitting our group into two and sitting us at opposite ends of the restaurant, then proceeded to give us dirty looks our whole meal. The "waitress" barely said two words when she came to ask what we wanted to drink, 3 waters and one Sprite. She dropped off a tall jar of water for us to refill our drinks ourselves and never came back once to refill the Sprite or check to see how things were going. And they wanted us to tip our server 17%? The only person worth tipping was the gentleman that came and grabbed our empty plates. He was the only kind person on their staff.
On top of all the drama, the food wasn't very good and we sat across from what I'm guessing is the wait staff room and the floor was a mess, which I have included a picture of. I will 100% NOT be returning to this place if I come back to visit and I think any one thinking of dining here should be aware that the staff is rude.
