  • I will never ever go into this store again. My first experience went okay when I went to try on wedding dresses. Ashley helped me, she was nice and easy going but didn't guide me to the dress I wanted. I am a plus size girl with big hips and she was putting me in dress that made my hips even larger than they are. I was completely unsure what style I wanted in general. She told me to not go with a Ball Gown (which is the dress style I purchased at Alfred Angelo) because it would make me look bigger than I am....which it does not. After that appointment I felt okay to go back and look through their bridemaid dress selection a few months later. I walked in and was greeted by a older lady and she showed me where the bridesmaid dresses are located. I started browsing and then she asked what style I was looking for. I told her I wanted all the same material and color but different styles. She said "No! You cannot do that!" I was horrified and asked "Excuse me? This is my wedding not yours." She then continued with "That would look horrible." I was extremely pissed off and couldn't believe that she had even said that to me. First of all this is not your wedding. Second of all you should never ever say that to a bride. Third of all you should never say that to a bride who has been planning her wedding since January and is a military bride with her man overseas (extra stress). After she said that to me I told her I would look around alone and let her know if I needed help. After finding a few styles I liked she came over and asked if I had purchased my dress at Davids Bridal. I told her no and she said in a very snotty tone "well if you would have we could give you $25 off each dress but we can't since you didn't get it here." I said "Okay?". She asked if I wanted her to save the dresses I liked in their computer so I could come back later and wouldn't have to remember which ones I looked at before. I told her sure and we went to the first dress so she could write down the dress #. Before she even started writing it down another girl walked in (customer) to the store wanting to look at wedding dresses. The women who was currently helping me turned to me and said I will be right back. 10 minutes went by and the lady never came back (I literally timed it)...I walked around the store and past many associates who never offered to help me while I waited. After the 10 minutes was up I left and went to Alfred Angelo where I purchased my dress and now all 5 of my bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dress. Davids Bridal you need to get your crap together and start treating your customers right!! IF you don't you will lose all of your clients to other dress stores that have AMAZING service. I highly recommend Alfred Angelo! Everyone there is so sweet and willing to help. I went there after this experience and was treated great! Irene helped my find 5 different styled dresses (in same material) plus she even help me find a flower girl dress that is beyond perfect!
