Awesome and easy trail with plenty to look at. This hike is pretty straight forward with no surprises or parlous obstacles. Most of the folks on the trail are families, retired people or fellow nature lovers. The path is wide enough for foot traffic in both directions. Every few hundred feet there are informational signs posted up with info about the tunnels and lake mead/ hoover dam. There is a collection of 5 different tunnels, the first three are very close together the last two are a little farther away. Near the entrance of each cave is a bench to sit down on. The caves themselves are pretty cool and depending on the season could possibly have bats in them. As you progress the trail there are many viewing opportunities to see the beautiful view of Lake Mead. If your'e lucky you can sometimes spot bighorn sheep wandering around the hillsides. This trail makes for a great outing on a beautiful day. The even terrain is an added bonus , usually i walk this trail just in my tennis shoes... and it's FREE!!!
