| - Although I thoroughly loath Duran Duran's music, Simon Le Bon has succeeded in the bistro business in a way he never could with music. Discount cocktail night has become a regular event for my friends and I not to mention, they always have great craft food available too.
But on a more personal note, last time I was there, I unknowingly left my Ray-Bans at my table. Days went by and I searched all over my desk, house, car, etc. and couldn't find them anywhere. My last ditch effort was going to be calling La Bon because I went there 3 days prior for cocktail night but I highly doubted someone hadn't stolen them by that time and my spirits were low. When I did call, I told the hostess the situation, she took my number down, and said she's ask around the staff. A couple hours later she called me back and said they DID in fact have them and that they'd be waiting for me whenever I was ready to pick them up. CAN I GET A HECK FRIGGIN YES?!?! I have the utmost respect for the staff at La Bon because, if put in the same situation, I don't know what I would have done if a stranger left their valuables at my disposal and didn't call for days. But it is because of the great staff at La Bon that I can continue masquerading as a bad boy wannabe in my edgy designer sunglasses and James Dean jackets. And for that I thank you.
