  • Michelangelo's is the quintessential state street/Capitol square caffe to visit. The baristas are knowledgable and more than willing to make whatever the hell you want, While keeping a smile on their faces. They have a great sandwich and desert selection including multiple variations of cheese cake. The coffee and tea "cocktail" menu is extensive, including drinks like the truck stop cappuccino and the almond joy mocha. If you are interested in keeping it simple, then the latte is one of the better ones in town. The decor is second to none; upholding its pedigree, with paintings adorning every nook and cranny. I am giving this establishment five stars because it is simply consistent. Take away all of the frills, and Michelangelo's would still be a classy act.
