  • Normally, I boycott anything associated with Walmart but in this visit I needed gas and a coworker suggested Sam's Club because their gas is cheaper and I could use his membership card. Oh yeah, it was a penny cheaper than other places I saw. Big Deal!!! It cost me the extra penny driving around the mall. What made this worse is while pumping my gas, I'm solicited by an employee to make a donation to a charity...I forget which one. I am a very charitable person. I am hit up constantly at work but being hit up at the grocery store, stopped at an intersection and now a gas station really gets on my nerves. Thank God, I don't have my own membership to Sam's Club or I would have cancelled it today. Thank God Costco doesn't do this.
