I was selling my car a few months ago and needed to get the etest and safety certificate done. Went to a couple other service centres, they couldn't tell me why my car failed the etest and wouldn't give me safety certificate unless I change my tires or brake pads with them. When I went to A1, Americo tried to do a etest on my car but was unable to because I just failed one at the other shop. So he asked me to drive the car for two or three days before testing it again and I did. When I went back, there was still no communication between my car and the test machine. At this point he hasn't charged me for anything and told me I should consider sell the car as is because it may cost too much to fix the problem with engine. But I already promised a seller to get the tests done, so he manually turned off the engine warning light and reset the computer, asked me to drive the car for another two or three days. When I went back, there was still no communication, I live in downtown and take street car to work. Drive the car to the required mileage to do the test is extra work for me. So Americo offered to do it and I gladly accepted it. When he finally called and told me what the problem was, considering all the work and tests he had done, the price to get everything fixed was very reasonable. Very honest man!!!
