| - I am so frustrated with this place.
I originally took my sewing machine in around Christmas when it stopped picking up the bobbin thread. I figured it was due for a cleaning, and also had a timing issue. When I took it in, I asked the man if the cleaning would take care of the whole problem, or if I was going to get charged for something else. He told me no, the cleaning fee would take care of the timing issue as well. He informed me that they would call me as soon as my machine was finished. I waited about 2 weeks without hearing anything from them before I decided to call myself and find out if my machine was done. The man told me he didn't have my machine, and that I could call the other location where they fix them to find out if he had it. I called the other location and they told me that it had been dropped off at the other location already and was ready to be picked up. (10 days earlier, I might add) I then got a call from the location I dropped it at to let me know my machine was there and ready.
A few months later, after the machine sat for a while without being touched, I tried to use it and it was having the same issue. I immediately emailed the store to let them know and find out if they could help. I got an email from Tom that said go ahead and drop it off and even though it's past warranty, as long as it's related to the first issue, they would fix it. I dropped it off within a couple of days and was told they would call me when it was ready. About a week and a half went by when I decided to give them a call, and what do you know? My machine was ready (interesting that it was "dropped off by the other store" just 10 minutes before I called!) I went to pick it up, made sure I didn't owe anything (I didn't, so it was the same issue as the first time). I brought the machine home, and as I came to use it for the first time since I took it back (about 2 weeks), and guess what! I'm having the EXACT same issue.
I really want to like this place, but I am so frustrated. They don't call you when the machines are ready, they don't seem to know where the machines are at any given moment, and from a personal perspective they haven't been able to fix the problem I'm having.
