  • Husband and I inquired about representation with SSA denial; it's for husbands combat PTSD, he's unable to work and has many mental issues. I was present on speaker phone at the time of all calls. During screening process, he was asked your average questions; one of them being have you ever been a drug user or alcoholic? As soon as my husband said yes, (previously.. and anyone who knows about ptsd knows that it's self medication prior to even realizing there is a problem. He has been sober over 2 years and it was social, never effected work, etc). My entire point in this long drawn out review is that immediately after that question, the screener said ok, call and see how many quarters you have to see if we can even help. Lies!! Basically that was her way to get off the phone so she could send her auto generated email that they are not able to take the case. .after email was received several calls made to simply understand why and no calls were returned.
