  • I have such mixed feelings about Big Als. First of all, I agree with the previous reviewer that you feel bad for the large sea creatures they have in the main tank. They do not move very much since there are so many of them in that main tank. An another review said follow the workers because they will be careless when the fish they give to you. My other issue is when you walk around the store you do notice many dead or diseased fish floating about. **I have to warn against using their Big Als water conditioners as well. In the GTA, the municipalities add ammonia to the water. Their water conditioner does not remove ammonia. I think it is irresponsible that they are selling their product. The ONLY product you should be using in the GTA is Amquel or Prime. I use Prime. At least they neutralize Ammonia for a period of time allowing your bio filter to actually convert this to nitrites** Lastly is about the customer service. Horrible.
