  • One of our AC units wouldn't start and we called George Brazil. They were able to get a technician out within a couple of hours, but instead of fixing the issue, the technician pushed the up sell of a new AC unit in which he said would cost upwards to $10k. He left without fixing our unit. We called another HVAC company and they came out the very next morning. Instead of needing a new compressor or replacement of unit, all we needed to get the unit up and running was to replace the capacitor, which only costs about $40 to replace for material alone. I'm disappointed that George Brazil tried to up sell when they clearly knew they could have fixed our unit easily. DO NOT use them, because they will take advantage of people that don't have the time to get a 2nd opinion. We basically wasted the cost of the service call to a company with no integrity. I wrote to George Brazil and no response back. It's been a week now and my unit has been running fine with this heat we've been getting.
