  • It was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon a Krispy Kreme in Chinatown. A bit out of place when you look at the other Asian establishments left, right, front, and center but it's brand recognition was able to drag my lazy feet to it's door. This Krispy Kreme has a healthy (hah!) selection of doughnuts as well as other items such as croissants, kruffins (Krispy Kreme muffins), strudels, muffins, and bagels. They have friendly staff and quite a few tables for customers to enjoy their sweets. The cafe has a retro vibe as well. I was thoroughly impressed with the cleaniliness of the washroom(s) but it may be because the establishment opened 1.5 months ago. I'm sure you're dying to know what I ordered. I'm old skool and got the original glazed. Just the way I remember it. 5 stars!
