This is the hotel/casino I always traverse when walking to my favorite club in Las Vegas: Club Tao. The Venetian is located on the strip, and offers a taste of Italy in Nevada. The outside has a large man-made lake with a few gondolas floating around. The inside offers a replica of the canals found in Venice, and you can buy tickets for a ride on one of the gondolas there. Tickets runs around $30 per person, and the ride allows you to buy group photos.
The halls of the Venetian are lined with high-end shops, and the roof is painted to look like a somewhat cloudy sky. The casino looks great, although I've never gambled there. I usually walk in through the first story entrance from the strip, and take the escalator up to the entrance of Tao.
As far as the experience for walking through this place, it is a great mid-priced center. I have gotten a room here yet, but on a Vegas trip in the near future. Stay tuned for an updated review.
