I called GB of Phoenix because my AC unit was down during the brutal heat wave of June 2016. I had ben authorized to pay for all expenses up front by my home warranty company and then submit the bill to them when done. Once I told the Customer Service rep that I had a home warranty he refused my business. He indicated that it happens all the time where someone states they can pay up front but it ends up not being the case (?). I mentioned that it would not be an issue and asked him what that has to do with me having a home warranty company, especially since he would not have to deal with them? Getting paid was between myself and the warranty company. I then said - "ok. I don't have a home warranty. Will you take my business?" He said no.
So I called another - Cool Ace Air - and paid for everything in full, up front. They were at my house within 2 hours.
Stay away from Georg Brazil. I had heard of very questionable experiences prior to calling but thought that they may be one offs. And then I saw the other reviews on Yelp and realized I was not alone.
