| - So I saw the reviews and triggered by the recent power outage I decided to go have dinner and a few cold ones at this place.
The selection is good enough and the price is fairly cheap. Now the quality fits the price point. When it's cheap one should not expect grandeur, and I didn't.
Chicken wings - alright, nothing special at all. Plus for the choice between breaded of naked, and they are half off on Mondays. Cool.
Gyro - you know what, for a sports bar I do approve of this dish. I mean, if I want a great Gyro I would not come to this place, but for a spontaneous choice over a few cold - it was surprisingly fresh.
Fried cheese curds - my first time. I thought it was alright.
Onion Rings - not by type. This was the heavy breaded pre-fab kind.
For a sports bar a decent amount of TVs and I felt quite left alone, in a good way. I can see this place having an appeal for people, and I could see myself going here if I wanted to see a particular game or fight. But for a staple in my book, this place will not make it in. The service was alright. I have no complaints, but I wouldn't rave about it either. Run of the mill, and that is not necessary a bad thing. It is a standard sports bar.
