| - My boyfriend booked a Tower Room and we checked-in through the concierge. It was a busy day, so this was a nice perk! Our room was very nice! I was impressed. We were only there a few hours playing penny slots when I dropped my wallet where I was sitting. My boyfriend was sitting right next to me as I cashed out my slot machine, and moved onto another machine. He stayed there. A security guard came by and picked up my wallet just before I returned to the machine looking for it. I walked up to the security who picked it up, and he was very nice and called me by my first name before I gave it to him. I thought to myself that I was very lucky since I had 400.00 in my wallet. He brought me my wallet, and asked if everything was there. "Um, no my money is all gone!" However, all the change was there. We insisted they look at the video to see if anyone else had picked up my wallet, and placed it in the exact same place where I dropped it. We knew it wasn't logical for that to happen. They looked on the video, and saw no one else touching my wallet. We then had it further investigated. After returning home, I was told that they followed the video of the security guard and never saw him take the money out of my wallet. Videos can only see so much. They don't have cameras in every area of the casino. I am a very honest person, and know for a fact he took my money! No one offered any kind of compensation although I didn't expect that. It just would have softened the blow. Their own employee is a thief and there is nothing I can do about that. But I can write a review and let others know. Yes, it was my fault for dropping my wallet from my lap. However, employees should be held to a higher standard. I am sure its tempting, but so wrong to do. It spoiled the rest of our stay. It was uncomfortable to keep seeing the Security Guard working during our stay as well. Be careful anywhere you go, and you have been forewarned at this hotel and casino.
