  • I definitely drop by 808 Sushi from time to time. They've got a good selection of both sushi as well as entrees/appetizers. Regarding AYCE: The AYCE option is only around $21 at lunch, which is a great deal. Their menu includes both rolls/nigiri as well as things like their mochiko chicken, poke, gyoza, etc., so even if you're not in the mood for sushi and would basically like to eat ALL THE APPETIZERS/hot items you've got yourself an excellent deal. Lunch Specials: They've started offering lunch specials for awhile now, and their most expensive offering is $8.50, which includes a mound of rice w/ furikake, a full portion of mochiko or garlic chicken, 8pc spicy tuna roll, 3 nigiri (salmon, yellowtail, tuna), and salted warm edamame. The rest of the lunch bentos are cheaper and have a ton of stuff too. In short, great portion sizes, good prices, and consistently good food. They don't put a ton of rice on their sushi as well which I appreciate. It doesn't blow my mind but I don't hesitate to come here for AYCE or take out. They are also the only place I know of that offers *reasonable* donburi like katsudon and oyakodon. (I know a place that serves katsudon in a box that barely fits 1.5 cups of food... for $8-9...) One minor criticism from my point of view is that their spicy tuna filling is more like the texture of spicy poke. Instead of finely chopping/mincing the tuna and mixing it with the spicy sauce it is large chunks of tuna coated in the sauce. This makes the spicy tuna less spicy which makes me sad. Prepared this way it isn't much different from putting a bunch of wasabi on my tuna. Then again, I am the type of person who grew up eating spicy food and there are people on this planet that find bell peppers spicy... /shrug
