I knew I was in over my head when I saw Bentleys and Ferraris queued up at VG's valet parking; I was slumming it in a 2008 BMW. We started with the calamari and the lamb ribs -- both were excellent. We each ordered a flatbread -- a fancy term for pizza -- and my girlfriend found the carmelized onion & goat cheese flatbread to be greasy and she thought the combination wasn't that great. I had the Italian sausage flatbread and found it to be just "OK". To quote another Yelper, "...service was okay, but not attentive....we had to wait...to be noticed...and to bring the check." SERVICE WAS SLOW (Jan.3rd) and trying to do more with less has earned them three stars. To be honest, I probably won't be back. To sum it up, the VG's menu is for a more discriminating palate. I'm the type of gal who clips Mimi's coupons and is always on the hunt for 2-for-1 meal deals.
