Stylish wood and metal bar-pub on two floors, with loud but not raucous vibe and pleasant service. Our large party mostly ordered their poutines, which were inventive (shepherd's pie) if oversalted and sometimes a letdown (duck confit was a bit dry and not especially tasty, which is hard to manage when you're cooking something that fatty). The major disappointment was the range of mostly mediocre, occasionally terrible house beers. A promising "summer weizen" tasted like cough syrup - like with the duck confit, it was hard to fathom how that even happened.
Unless someone is hosting a party here, there's nothing that would make me choose this place over El Rey del Taco next door for a meal, or Vices et Versa a few blocks away for pints.
