The best way to describe a Sur La Table is it's like a Williams Sonoma but not as intimidating. I am not much of a cook but my wife is and we both love this store. We've bought many items from here but not necessarily high end things like knives or espresso makers. Little things they do carry as well like gadgets and helpful things as well as as ingredients to cookie cutters to tools and such.
My favorite items I've bought from here are ice cube trays which are latex. They make perfectly sharp edged symmetrical cubes. This store is pretty big and they do have a wide selection of wares. Because some of the shelves and displays are so high it reminds me of when I was a kid going to a retail store and how everything was so high in height in relation. In some way this store makes me feel like a kid that way.
