| - This was such a fun day to come down with my little pup! I was really surprised to find it busy on a weekday around 3pm!
The park is totally gated. There is a side for small dogs and a side for larger dogs. Both sides look the same size. It's really clean and provides plastic bags, pooper scoopers, and easily-accessible trashes for you. Everyone is really friendly, too.
But, like most reviews said, there should be a strict little dogs-small side and large dogs-big side. I took my little one into the small dogs side and there were numerous medium to larger dogs roaming around. Like golden retrievers, dobermans, and collies. I do understand, if you have a small dog AND a large dog and do not want to leave one unattended (that you shouldn't), you'd want to go into the small dog area, so the smaller animal wouldn't be frightened if it was put into a larger animal environment.
Also, if you do not want your dog to lose its precious toy, do not bring it to this park. There are so many other dogs running around that they could pick up your dog's toy and bring it home with them. I would think that was common sense, but reading some of these reviews makes me think twice.
All in all, this is a well kept park bustling with friendly dogs and their owners. It's great because it's local and in a peaceful apartment neighborhood. If you're bored, bring your pups here to give them a fun day!
