Ok. First off, who really wants to receive a jury summons? First thought is likely not positive. At least mine wasn't. But, civic duty and all of that I showed up when scheduled. You have to enter through a metal detector but that shouldn't be a surprise. Once you're in the jury assembly room, the staff was nice, hospitable and informative. There is a quiet area where you can work or read, a kitchen area with vending machines and free coffee, and free wifi. Tip - when you enter the assembly area, the seats with easy access to electric outlets will be on your right across the room from the lounge and restrooms. The seats there are also spaced a bit further apart so you may want to grab one of those on your way in. I brought work and reading but wound up watching one of the movies they showed. All in all, the staff and environment makes something one might dread into as great an experience as possible.
