  • Was not personable or gracious. Gave fine dress shoes to repair (replace sole and fix minor separation); he needed time and said he would call me, but never did. When I came in said he left a message when he did not. Not a big deal. But... The repair was not done very well, the salesman was more concerned about selling me worn out $500 pairs of dress shoes. Purchased a pair of lower priced ones (valued at $110 for $60) in great condition, but tried to return them because after using them once, I realized they were too big. But he would not return or exchange them. Again tried to sell me worn out $500 pairs of shoes. Perhap I should relax and realize I was at a store above my priceline. On the other hand, I'd expect service more tailored to my needs, especially for a place called "Shoe Repair."
