  • Ringless Groom with almost 23 days left till my wedding....Not a happy groom and former unhappy customer Im not sure if all locations are like this but the Summerlin location has the worst customer service. This was the first time buying a wedding band for myself and the first time using Kay Jewlers and I found the ring I wanted pretty quick but the worst customer service comes after I try to pick it up. The ring took about 15 days to get resized and when I returned to the store and stood at the counter the girl first words were "What do you want" and 2nd words were "Give Me Your Paperwork" I don't know if she was trying to be funny or if she's normally like this but she came across really rude. I told her I don't have my paperwork but I ordered my ring and someone called me from this location stating its ready to be picked up. The girl took about 20 minutes to locate the ring and kept on asking me are you sure you ordered it from here? Umm YES Im sure because Im the one who picked out the ring....Anyways 20 minutes later she finally locates the ring it was the wrong size. She said I could send it back to get it resized. I said No problem and I even purchased a few necklaces they had left over from Valentines Day for wedding gifts. Mistakes happen I understand and maybe she was having a bad day. 3 weeks later (3/28/16 9:00pm) I called the store asking about my ring and the gentlemen first said I couldn't locate your ring let me have the store manager call you back. When the manger called me back she asked for my paperwork which I didn't have at the moment but explained that i did come to pick up the ring 3 weeks ago and it was the wrong size so the girl said she would ship it back for resizing. The store manger reiterated that I need your paperwork to track down the ring and to call her back when I found the yellow paperwork. 10 minutes later the manager calls me back and said I found your ring you can come pick it up anytime it's a size 12 which was the original size when it arrived at the store to be picked up the first time. So the ring never left the store and has been sitting there doing nothing for 3 weeks. After trying to explain the issue to the store manger several times and still didn't understand what happened she says why dont you come in and pick out a new ring and we can ship it back it will take approximately 15 days. I told her I dont want a different ring I want that ring and it's almost 23 days until my wedding and because of your staffs mistake I may not have a ring for my wedding. I told her that I would come in to get my deposit back and use another jeweler. Thanks Kay Jeweler Summerlin I think I will from now on use a local jeweler that wouldn't treat their customers like a number. Im not going to put my new jeweler on this post but If you want to know who I ended up using please message me. He's great and a 3rd generation Las Vegas Jeweler
